With a dream to start her own business and $10 in her pocket, Jenny Hardgrave set out to launch a successful company based solely on seasonal color in Metro Atlanta. Today, Simply Flowers has over 800 commercial and residential accounts and has about $3 million in sales. Come hear Jenny’s story and see how she is using color to bring her landscape designs to life!

Speaker Bio: Jenny Hardgrave After graduating from college with a degree in Nursery and Landscape Management, Jenny Hardgrave moved to Atlanta.  She started Simply Flowers Inc. in 2001 with $10 in her pocket and a dozen clients. She had gain experience in the horticulture world as a seasonal color designer and production manager for a prominent Atlanta landscape company. This Tennessee native grew up in a family of entrepreneurs.  She was willing to work hard and take chances.  Her dream was to launch her own business – one that would concentrate solely on seasonal color.  So, with a box truck given to her by her father and an F-150 nicknamed Diva, Jenny and her small staff started changing the floral landscape in Metro Atlanta.  She certainly discovered her niche and today, Simply Flowers has over 800 commercial and residential accounts totaling $2.5 million in sales.

Jenny has served as past President of the Metro Atlanta Landscape and Turf Association (MALTA) and was recognized in 2007 as Georgia Green Industry Association (GGIA) as Communicator of the Year.  She is frequently asked to be a speaker bringing her warm, witty presentation and inspirational story.  Since 2002 Jenny has been the recipient of numerous awards from MALTA for her exceptional garden designs and installations.
